Academics

At Intellect Preparatory Academy, we honor every student as an individual learner within a school community.

Overview

At Intellect Preparatory Academy, we honor every student as an individual learner within a school community. Our STEAAM-focused curriculum builds a strong foundation at every grade level, so graduates leave prepared to enter college. IPA serves Suffolk, Virginia and the seven cities of Hampton Roads (Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach), as well as Carrollton, Franklin, Smithfield, and Williamsburg, and communities in northeastern North Carolina including Edenton, Elizabeth City, and Gates County.
